Armor
Firearms have rendered traditional armor better at blocking blades obsolete, and modern armor typically is made of layers of leather and cut-resistant cloth. Heavier military versions will also include plates of ceramic or metal to prevent even heavier rounds from piercing through. However, police do not take kindly to armor being worn in public and are likely to stop and question any civilians seen wearing them.
